Mission

To provide a foundation to live what is fundamental for being Christian; experienced through three essential encounters:

1. With Christ
2. With Others
3. With One-self

Goal:

The Cursillo offers a simple method to search and develop a spirituality, a mentality, and an activism that allows the person to become part of a Christian community.

The Cursillo is an encounter with Christ.  When applied correctly, the Cursillo of Christianity method can lead to very positive results.  This method is the transferring of Christ’s values to the family, school, business, etc.  This is the evangelization of the environments that Cursillo promotes. The Cursillo movement wants Christ as the main influence in society. That is why the main objectives of the Cursillo movement are to develop, in the adult Christian, a conscience of his/her power and mission.  Hopefully, this will enable them to become leaders in the Christian renovation and support them to become the leaven in the civic, social and economic life. This “Christianization of the environments” is what Cursillo is all about.

To live a 3-day weekend, you will need: · All valid Catholic Sacraments: Baptism, First Holy Communion, Confirmation, Marriage/or Single not living outside of a Sacramental marriage. · And have the desire to deepen your knowledge of Christ and the Christian way of life.
