EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS |
Mission
The Mission of the Queen of Peace Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (EMHC) is to assist the clergy in distribution of Christ’s Precious Body and Blood.
Goals:
-
To insure that there are adequate resources (trained volunteers) to distribute the Eucharist to the Queen of Peace Community.

To train interested volunteers
-
To create awareness in the Queen of Peace Community about the needs and importance of this ministry
-
To insure that the distribution of Christ’s Body and Blood is done with Respect and Reverence.
Requirements:
-
Practicing Catholic age 16 and older.
-
Complete spiritual and practical training.
-
Maintain current mandation status.
-
Adhere to the regulations for
EMHC’s as set forth by the
Archdiocese of Denver.
Activities:
-
Distribute the Body and Blood of Christ at weekday, weekend and holy day masses and liturgies.
-
Distribute the Body and Blood of Christ to those individuals who are homebound or in nursing homes or the hospital.
Service:
-
Participate in weekday, weekend and holy day masses as assigned/requested.
-
Participate in homebound or hospital/nursing home ministry on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.
-
Serve as a Captain for EMHC ministries.
-
Serve as the Coordinator for any of the EMHC ministries.
